Neil Bailey
Neil went to school in Tavistock where he left with pretty lowly qualifications, but was lucky enough to be accepted into Plymouth CFE where he completed a BTEC National Diploma in Business & Finance. He left college in 1990 and started work as a salesman for a small computer firm in Plymouth. As it turned out Neil was rubbish at selling and he was fortunate that the firm had an opening in their technical support department.
The company went out of business the following year and Neil managed to get a job with a national IT Maintenance Company. All of his technical experience was gained in these 15 years, working for the likes of British Telecom, M.O.D, Environment Agency and Your Move. His roles included computer hardware engineer, contract liaison, engineering technical support, database designer and software support.
Neil joined Bradleys in October 2004 as it was decided that we could offer a more effective IT Dept by running it in house and not out sourcing it to a third party company. Which I think we can say has certainly been achieved.
Keith Turk
Keith grew up, and went to school in Taunton. After leaving school, Keith went into banking, working for Lloyds Bank in several offices across Somerset and Dorset. During this time, he found what it is like to be on the receiving end of unreliable computer systems!
Ten years ago, in a complete change of direction, Keith joined LBTS Ltd, a computer support company based in Yeovil. This is where he first came into contact with Bradleys, along with a number of other Estate Agents that the company dealt with. LBTS was taken over by Pericom, a national IT company, and it was at this time that a basic Help Desk was started, run mainly by Keith. It was through the Help Desk that Keith got to know many of the Bradleys staff, and then in February 2003, Keith left Pericom, to work full time for Bradleys, running their own in-house Help Desk.
Keith enjoys his gardening, and most Sunday mornings are spent tending his allotment, or growing fuchsias!
Kevin Brandwood
Kevin attended Honicknowle school in Plymouth, where he left achieving seven exam passes. He then served a two year apprenticeship with Allen’s of Plymouth qualifying as a light vehicle technician.
Kevin left after a further two years and decided to see some of Europe, taking his new skills with him he managed to work his way around Spain, Italy and Holland. On his return to the UK his interest in IT took over, he took several factory jobs over six years to finance his development in IT. He joined Pericom as a Field Engineer supporting a number of different companies in the South West including Bradleys. Whilst at Pericom he achieved MCP status (Microsoft Certified Professional).
When the decision was made that Bradleys would run their own IT Dept Kevin was the obvious choice for engineer.
